Hi, My name is Joel Bevacqua and I own Buda! Work-For-Hire Multimedia. My skill set encompasses a wide range of communication media because it is my natural interest. As a child I liked to draw and create worlds and I was always interested in commenting on the world around me. In my teens I became interested in graffiti art. I started my own punk band, DJed, produced fanzines, stickers and t-shirts. In my 20’s I produced raves, art shows, designed and printed flyers, published a newspaper, wrote articles, produced techno records and started a record and CD label. You can peruse these works at your leisure here…www.deadlybuda.com. At the turn of the millennium, I added 3D animation, web design, video editing, compositing and internet radio programming to my toolbox. In 2000 I moved to Hollywood and started doing freelance work to bolster my income. Plus, I believe it’s important to work on projects besides my own to meet new people, make new connections, expand my repertoire and be relieved of the pressure of ‘calling all the shots’ all the time. Because I have produced so many of my own projects for the marketplace, I am sensitive to the needs of the producer. I try to stay competitively priced, get the work done in a timely manner and keep the paperwork to a minimum. I know you want the job done so you can move to the next step of your production. Hiring: The general job goes like this: You tell me what you want via phone, e-mail, etc. I e-mail you a general time and cost estimate. After we agree on the price range and parameters of the project, you pay me a deposit equaling half of the total project price either by check or Paypal. The job is started. I create the first version of the job and present it to you. You request changes if needed. Once those changes are made, the job is considered complete. I give you any remaining files, printouts, etc. and then you pay me the rest of the monies agreed to. I always cap the price of the project so that it will never go over your budget. As a rough guideline, the "Children's Guide" and "Freedom From Fear" animations took 2 weeks. The most time-intensive work is usually the set-up process for any job. Once that is finished, moving the camera and changing the lighting and render qualities are fairly quick. Editing and compositing jobs, whether audio or visual, take longer when there is more source material to process and arrange. The "Smack Down the Blood Suckers" ad took a week because I wrote the script and knew what source files I needed right away. Contact: e-mail, call or write: Joel
